Malfunction or Defected Modified Printers Warranty
Tekno Ink warrants on modified printers products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date it is delivered to the customer. This limited warranty is void if the product's failure has resulted from accident, abuse, misapplication, modification, improper calibration by the customer, use of an improper hardware or software updating, or unauthorized maintenance or repair. Hazards such as lightning, flood, exceeding voltage specifications, or customer abuse are not covered under warranty.
Malfunction or Defected ink cartridge and toner Warranty
Tekno Ink warrants on ink cartridge and toner products against manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year from the date it is delivered to the customer. This limited warranty is void if the product's failure has resulted from accident, abuse, misapplication, modification, improper calibration by the customer are not covered under warranty.
Return Material Authorization
The customer must obtain a return material authorization (RMA) number from Tekno Ink before returning any products to us for repair. An RMA number must be issued whether the repair is covered by repair program or not. Customers can obtain RMA numbers by contacting our direct number (305) 615-0991or downloading the form online at www.teknoink.com.
The customer may return a hardware product for repair if outside of the covered warranty period and there will be a specific repair fee based on the device's problem.
All repairs carry a 90-day warranty, which begins the day the repaired item is shipped back to the customer. The product will continue to be covered by any existing repair program or by the 90-day repair warranty, whichever is longer.
The customer is notified if, after examining and testing a returned product, Tekno Ink technician concludes that the product is not defective. The product is returned at the customer's expense and the customer is charged a nominal examination and testing fee or the standard repair fee, whichever is less.
Tekno Ink contacts the customer for hardware that is not covered under a warranty and not repairable, offers customers the following options:
1. Tekno Ink can return the product to the customer and there will be applied a fee for testing and for the shipment.
2. Tekno Ink can provide a new printer to the customer without charging the fee for testing the old device.
